Most people, myself included, like to hang silk paintings. My silk art comes "gallery" framed and ready for wall display.
The silk is mounted on foam core board using a spray fabric adhesive used to hold T-shirts for screen printing and does not leave any residue on the fabric when removed and can even be remounted.
I use natural bamboo or reeds as framing to protect the edges and convey an island feeling.
It is a good idea to protect any art work from direct sun. I don't use glass and you will find that these pictures are such an integral part of the environment in their creation and style that they continue to reflect this when displayed.
